The 2013 Black Forest Fire devastated hundreds of Colorado Springs families and acres of the beautifully wooded landscape of this beautiful city. However from the ashes arose strength in character of the homeowners who choose to return to this location and new homes rose up from the ashes that were (in most cases) more energy efficient and better built than the previous homes.
